Ka-Vala, is able to offer advice on alchemical ingredients from Tamriel, but she cannot offer advice on Shivering Isles ingredients.
She will add any ingredients you have in stock, which your skill level can use.
She will not take kindly to being dismissed.
Ka-Vala was born in the city of Lewawiin, but she was not raised there. Shortly after her birth her parents were abducted and sold into slavery, leaving the tiny hatchling alone.
Her birth parents were to perish in forced labour in Morrowind.
Luckily Ka-Vala was adopted by a pair of philanthropic Imperial’s and was raised in Imperial City. Taught magic by her adoptive human father, a low ranking member of the Mage’s Guild, she quickly developed a talent for alchemy and worked in the Arcane Universities, where her fame grew. Although tetchy and intolerant of the failures in others, she seemed destined for great things within the Guild. Many talked of her possible rise to the position of Arch-Mage itself. Then, until dark fate intervened.
During a camping trip in the West Weald, Ka-Vala's adoptive parents accidentally stumbled upon a vampire lair and were killed. When news of the tragedy eventually reached Ka-Vala she immediately set out to destroy the lair, but the vampires within had already fled.
Burning with a desire for revenge, Ka-Vala sought the aid of the Mages Guild in tracking down and destroying this group of seemingly organised vampires, but the Guild refused to act without further evidence.
This Ka-Vala sought, scouring the countryside and the Imperial records, but each time she brought new evidence to light, she was thwarted by indecision and disbelief.
Furious at the Guilds continued lethargy Ka-Vala left the University and moved North to carry out her own research and pursue her own vendetta against her adopted parents killers.
She became a teacher of some renown and many students sought the position of apprentice in her Northern retreat. But, Ka-Vala was a hard task master and few could meet her demanding schedule.
She became more reclusive and bitter as time went by. Lost in her own world, she lost touch with the Guild, and the affairs of Cyrodiil.
Then out of the blue, Harold of Leyawiin, a human and well known Argonian rights campaigner approached her with the fateful words
‘I am a Night Hunter, and we share a common enemy’
From that day Ka-Vala became a Night Hunter.
